A true Kizomba Engineer, Mario 'DeeJay Marito' Da Silva started DJing at the age of 17 in various clubs around the city of Porto, North Portugal. Moving to Norway in 98, Marito started mixing in African and Latin parties there, be it the Cap-Verdian Association or at Oslo's top latin club Las Palmeras.
In the UK since 2000, Marito quickly re-connected with the Angolan and Afro-Portuguese community, playing in many parties. The mastermind behind the hugely successsful street-mix "Angola Avante Vol. 1 (2005)" Marito became Club Don Cubas resident and regularly guests in top Luso-African clubs around Europe.
